Niagara Falls is amazing. Everyone found something extraordinary in it's beauty and brilliance.
There were family and guests from as far away as San Francisco and everyone enjoyed the falls, the fireworks and the food.
Some of the highlights:
The wedding day was gorgeous. Slight wind with a bright sky. The bride and groom were swimming in happiness and their love as obvious and as powerful as the falls behind them.
Cousins, aunts, in-laws and friends all made the weekend hilarious and enjoyable. The kids had a blast and watching the three of them walk down the aisle, dance, laugh and play together was comforting in its ease.
I only cried once. (I know)
The boat ride on Maid of the Mist is amazing. The power and shock of the "mist" which is pretty much more water that has fallen on my head in my entire desert life~ made everyone from the 2 year olds to the 85 year olds laugh in awe.
As for the eating...
Steak and Lobster
Lobster and Steak
5 course wedding dinner including Prime Rib
Room Service pancakes
Pizza delivered in our room as we watched the falls and the fireworks with Earth and Roony.
Craps ($$!) P and I have very good luck at the craps. It is the most fun! Our little matching hands can barely hold a stack of chips but we manage.
I love weddings. This one will go down in history as a great one marking a life together full of love, laughter, weird science and comic books.

Love ya! The kids were my favorite part too. They were so cute and so good. Excellent flower girls and ring bearer! Thanks for the great blog and great description of the best family reunion of my life. I keep having dreams of falling over the falls, I hope it passes.
Woah, scary dream P.
I can't believe there were 1,000 origami'd cranes. I think we took about 400 of them home in our car.
