One of the most amazing and wonderful things about my sisters being in town is their incredible willingness to cook and clean for me. Iron chef competition was the best night of many many nights!
The task was to do two courses with a mushrooms.
We cleared out every mushroom in the land.
Kendall Jackson:
Trio of stuffed mushrooms
Black Trumpet Mushroom crusted leg of lamb
Otterbutt:
Wild Mushroom stuffed puff pastry with pickled radish salad
Mushroom Risotto with asparagus and sauteed morels
Me:
Seared Scallop with shitake and lobster mushroom white wine sauce
Grilled Filet topped with mushrooms, arugula and goat cheese
